On this episode, we caught up with our local horseshoe expert, Mark Kiser along with…Melanie Zerr (Women’s State Champion), Stanton Griggs (13-time Men’s State Champion) and Alan Francis (25-time WORLD Champion). We talked extensively about pitching horseshoes and what it takes to be successful. Is it muscle memory? Is it solid mental preparation? Is it experience? Find out by listening to this episode and hear the advice that these champions express. Their answers apply to horseshoes, other sports, and parallel successful champions in life. There is a lot to this sport, and I thank these players and their advocacy and support of horseshoe pitching.

Next week, Springfield Cardinals take to the diamond. On September 15, join myself, along with Ned Reynolds and Art Hains for a special show as we pay tribute to local sports figure, and my dad, Dr. Tommy Burnett.
